Ethnicity, %, Kosovo�s large Albanian population wants union between Kosovo and Albania; this is resisted by Kosovan Serbs and others. The Serbs are mainly resident in northern Kosovo. The 2011 census excluded the Serbian-inhabited region of northern Kosovo and was boycotted by Serbs in southern Kosovo.
